What brands out there make more "neutral" looking jeans as far as the aesthetic aspect goes? Obviously fem jeans come in many colors, washes, designs, styles, details, etc... which is great, and while I do like those jeans as well, I'm currently interested to find other jeans with more of a "plain" no frills kind of aesthetic to them, back pockets without embroidery, etc. Speaking on behalf of people who aren't knowledgeable with the high end, one brand that has always stuck out to me is Bullhead (PacSun). Their line is pretty tomboyish generally with their washes and lack of detail. Though they mostly deal in supper skinny leg fits, they do have some nice jeans that fit this criteria in straight, boot, and flare as well. - shop.pacsun.com/Womens/jeans/Bullhead-Black-Laguna-Bootcut-Classic-Worn-Jeans/index.pro- shop.pacsun.com/Womens/jeans/Bullhead-Black-Bootcut-Blue-Shadow-Jeans/index.pro- shop.pacsun.com/Womens/jeans/Bullhead-Black-Duffy-Blue-Legging/index.proCan anyone recommend some more brands that sell tomboyish styles but maintain that great fem fit we all love?

Off the top of my head I can name a few. J Brand, Earnest Sewn, Banana Republic, J Crew. All of those if my memory serves me are free of any designs on the pockets. Some brands do have pocket stitching that is as dark or darker than the denim so doesn't show as much.

Those pacsun jeans are gorgeous. I recommend the above brands, also Gap and Topshop in UK are unmissable.

For many years I bought Victorias Secret London Jeans, which had plain back pockets, and straight legs (not skinny). They have changed them over the years, and haven't bought many lately, but I think they still have a basic style. These were nice fitting and feeling jeans, most with 1 or 2% lycra. I don't think anybody knew they were girl jeans when I had them on.
Check out Levis womens jeans too. The 515 is a nice basic jean that looks good and fits well. Hard to tell they're girls unless you're looking for that. I really LUV the 518's, a juniors style. Basic Levis design on the pockets, don't stand out as girlie jeans, but look really sexy when worn right.
Because Levis are best known as a men's jean, its a little easier to get away with wearing the girls styles in this brand.

I went to hubpages.com and search for Levis Jeans and the thread is there. Its rather long, but very good! Tons of guys wear girl jeans, and I knew it all along. I could always pick out the guys wearing girl jeans, because I wear them too!

Somehow I put an extra space in the address. I fixed it so the above link should work now.

How do you wear them? If you have long shirt over top does it matter what's on the pockets? If you wear skinny jeans showing your bum what shirt are you wearing? Try Henry & sew or Paige jeans.

Paige jeans are really cool. The branding on the pocket is subtle in that those in the know will recognise them but most wouldn't.

Paige jeans are one of my favorites and some have more subtle colored stitching.

Yes, well priced and well made. I think they are fairly similar to J Brand to be honest.

The Paige jeans are cute, but when I checked on line they were like really expensive! Maybe if they have a sale section sometime!

The Paige jeans are cute, but when I checked on line they were like really expensive! Maybe if they have a sale section sometime! Paige being one of my favorite denim brands I've spent a tidy sum on them. That said they really are made from better quality material than most. I have jeans bought 2 years ago that still look new. If you have a Nordstrom Rack near you check them out. If you're lucky they be found at a decent discount. The Jimmy Jimmy's in the photo above were $75.99 on sale.
