Does anybody like to wear capri jeans? I have a really cute pair of Levis 518 capris that I like to wear around the house, but haven't worn in public. The pink zipper and short capri length are definately sissy pants, but so much fun to wear! I love the look and feel of them and the low rise style. I think I could get by with rolling them up to the knees like bermuda short length, and wearing a longer top to cover the pink zipper. How do you feel about guys wearing girl's capri jeans? Sexy? Stylish? or Sissy?

I was wanting jeans with no back pockets because I like the smooth feel of denim on my bum. But I couldn't find any with my leg length so I have created some capri ones. They feel really sexy!

In addition to thrift store purchases, which are relatively inexpensive, I always shop the sale section on line at the Levis Store site, VS site and Sheplers. I have found new jeans on sale for as little as $7-10. Sometimes the only ones left of a certain style might be a short length, but correct size ( an 8 or 9 for me) These are the jeans I'll buy for $10 or $15 and cut the legs down to capri length or bermuda short length, then do a rolled hem. Now I have nice new shorts at 1/3 the price of in the store!

Capri jeans? If you think about it aren't most men's cargo shorts actually Capri length? Don't see problem with wearing Capri jeans , great for cycling not worried getting your jeans caught in the chain. Most of my workout attire consists of Capri tights.. Many women believe I look to girly in them but it's all perception of how others see you. Pink zipper so what Hugo boss makes black swim shorts with hot pink drawstring and highlights for men! As long your not wearing jeweled sparkling studs on your jeans your fine, no worries.
Just make sure you got the shoes or ankle socks to style or your going to look amusing for some.

Capri Jeans not my cup of tea but what the hey I wear kilts skirts and sk/horts with abandon. My preference is for nothing at or below the knee. Shorter the better. 'loriseguy' has the right idea if you can not find something ready made then make do with the longer jean length pants and convert down (shorter). The hem can be cut and sewen for a neat edge or left as is for a casual statement. Regarding 'jean' and wearing shoes and socks with capri pants - my personal feeling is that this is a fashion no-no as I view capri pants as the same thing as beach combers; vintage peddle pushers (precompression padded bike pants) or pirate pants. Beach sandels; thongs or very low cut sneakers for footwear but NO socks. But I no maka the rules but find it a lot easier to blend in if I do not boldly go about breaking established clothing protocol with normal items of clothing. 'loriseguy' has pretty much identified his capri pants with pink zipper as being sissy wear. But I would digress a bit if worn with a pastel or tropical print top covering just a little bit of the offending zipper and of course worn at a beach or a tropical resort or sorts.
As for my wearing kilts well not much is happening here on the beach front - it just is not practical.
As for skirts; skorts & short shorts well I am not going to go quietly on this one. No pinks or pastel colors to call flashing lights attention to this new concept in mens wear. Just your basic dark colors worn tastefully in co-ordination with other clothing items. Why the dark colors? The reason here is the whites and lighter pastels tend to be sheer or transparent. This is also present with the lighter weight jeans; jeggings and leggings. Most noticeably with the lack of details such as pockets; faux and real flys. Anything to break the usual visual line or outline of the wearer. Men have to be aware of having a plumbing supporting clause in their contract to wear clothing formerly fashioned for women or have explanations for the exceptions. This is not so much a problem in Europe but in the USA especially the redneck southern states there is a problem of tantamount proportions to changing what is normal or common for either sex to wear. Although women can wear pants without any problem; men if wearing something factored as odd or unusual can be labled as gay or sissy. Same applies to skirts and skorts and even some very short shorts but I say "Damn the Clothing Police - we are not in the Garden of Eden and wearing fig leafs anymore" !

My guess is those are LA Idol capris. They took from the styling of True Religion when using the thick contrasting thread stitching. Not as much a fan now as I used to be, noticing that I'm not wearing my TRs hardly at all. Same for Rock Revival jeans.

The jeans came in yesterday, and they're great! Fit like a glove, very comfortable, and nice looking. I think they look better on me than the model in the picture! Maybe I'll have to post a picture of me wearing them. I'll get to that when I have time.

I know this is an old post, but recently I've taken interest in capri/crops/ankle jeans. The styles are cute, much longer length compared to most girls shorty shorts and still has that great denim feel. I enjoy the ones from YMI Wanna Betta Butt brand in ankle length and Amethyst skinny crop. I also like their stylish back pockets. In the Hot Topic store, I noticed they make men's skinny shorts, and I swear they're about the same as capri, only more plain looking. Don't get me wrong, HT can make great denim shorts for men, and they do look great, but I prefer women's because they seem to have cuter looking back pockets with flashy designs.
