They look a lot like leather leggings i want to buy. Don't prefer the high waist, better mid-waist or low rise for me.
Wearing nylon dance supplex leggings before they tend to be low rise and fit perfectly. Until the back seam broke apart because i workout in them.
Sizing is key for leather leggings. Don't want them to be loose so it doesn't show your shape. While to tight will be very uncomfortable to wear. Plus their not cheap either.

These particular leggings are available also in faux leather (pleather) same type of design with the stitched seams front and back. I don't care for the faux leather polyester - if you are near a source of heat significant to melt the fabric and you are wearing you can sustain a very nasty burning of the skin.
In the digital images OP the hem length is not that long and does not cause a concern of having excess material. Also note the High Waist portion is not really all that high - the greater the waist size causes the rise to be reduced significantly and increases the potential of crack exposure at the rear.

And the butter soft smooth leather hides are going to cost a tad more than ordinary cow hide. To get leather pants that fit and wear great a custom fitting is needed to insure overall satisfaction. Cavet - DO NOT BUY LEATHER GOODS FROM INDIA OR PAKISTAN - these folks have no idea about the third dimension in human anatomy ! They will take a pattern and make a garment in a two dimension frame forgetting about the depth factor. Think about the cut out paper doll figures of years ago - fine the flat paper fits fine over the flat shape doll - but we are not built on a flat frame we have a well rounded shape. You pay for the quality you get - you pay more for better quality !

Thanks for the advice. True you get what you pay for and their are some leather leggings from Theory, Vince and Alice & Olivia or J-brand. Might bid on these looks to be my size, what do you think, although i prefer black. Link Faux leggings in polyester are a joke. Tried them on at H&M and the sound it makes walking swooshing noise terrible. Like wearing a plastic bag. Bought some waxed coated skinny jean jeggings instead. Again wore them couple times felt they would burst at the seams. Yet when i wore them on a night out a women coincidentally was wearing leather leggings sitting beside me. She noticed my black waxed look skinny jeans were tight and stared upon my legs, although i don't know what she thought, except confusion. Something like this...

Sort of like wearing corduroy material - constant rubbing of the raised grain against the next row with no relief !
Wearing black leather pants is the norm. Other colors are possible with additional cost and mixed results. With "RED" - one is definitely making a statement !
The only problem that I encounter with wearing women's fitted pants is just that - they are fitted without the term used by tailors (Ease). The pants are designed with no need for the ease in the front crotch. Thus with off the shelf clothing it is a problem. But for a serious custom fitting that ease must be factored in for a well fitting pair of pants be it leather; denim; cotton etc. Stretch fabrics although they stretch they need a tad more stretch otherwise things are going to get uncomfortable. Another thing to note is the RISE as in Mid-Rise or Low-Rise - with an inadequate ease in the design the RISE drops down lower than it is designed resulting a not so great looking/fitting pair of pants. It is also possible with low rise pants and a short crotch for crack exposure at the rear waist band. So there is more to finding or designing a well fitting pair of pants be it on either side of the fashion aisle !

High waist carbon 38 leggings are quite in fashion. Bought workout clothing from a reputed store online last month. Was quite satisfied with the results and bought some more in different colors for my sister. Hoping to get them soon before her zumba classes next week.

litka6:
Welcome to this Jean Forum !
Interesting line of clothing "carbon38". But the sizing won't work for most of us here - i.e. US size 8 is the largest and is in the medium range of petites Waist 29 Hip 41. OK some of us not most. With the tightness through the rise and crotch - the male plumbing is going to be overstressed for ease of room. Some fancy legwear stuff and of course the fancy pricing going with that too ! But never the less great eye-candy.
Thanks for your contribution and participation !
