Had an opportunity to buy these jeans: www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/prod/Pants/Denim/Tuxedo-Stripe-Skinny-JeanLike most all low waist jeans the size chart was off and I got the wrong size. Fortunately NY&CO has a store at the Mall of America where I could go and exchange sizes. Ordered a size 16 - waist was a 40 size chart shows a 34. The waist is a little more than halfway between the navel and the hips. With an exchange for a size 14 the low waist was relatively tight but the waist band does have some elasticity. The size 14 resulted in an actual 36 with the chart showing a 32.5. The inseam length was a true 29 inches. Definitely ankle pants length and not dust draggers/floor sweepers. The rise was 11 inches with somehwhat tight accomodations for the male plumbing. The Optic White color is a very bright white and contrasty with the black tuxedo leg stripes and black waist band. Reason did not buy in store was during the Super Bowl NY&CO had a promotion sale 40% off plus free S&H - a WOW factor not to be ignored. All in all a very (tight) comfortable pair of snazzy denim pants. k/s/s

Oops - forgot to mention NY&CO is currently having a "Buy One - Get One (FREE)" - but sorry they could not combined previous sale with the new promotion.

Seen female at work wearing black on black similar ones.. May have been designer type not sure which.. Suppose they were 7 for all mankind... White is risky color to choose.. Anytime you get dirty in the backside reminds others that you just shit your pants....
Anytime you wear light colors they are instantly eye catching. Sometimes not the best when in skinny's getting undue attention..
Bought some yellow corduroy skinny's very skin tight.. Doubt i would be able to wear them to work.. Sadly just wear them doing errands and around the house...

Yes! White is the be-devil color and pastels are definitely on the feminine side of the exposition scale. But then I would not be wrangling any cattle or attending a rodeo in my Sunday best least someone would comment there is that New York cowboy "Get-a-Rope" ! LOL
Express is selling similiar jeans - White with Black stripe - the waist band is however white. Also pricey at $70 a pair the size goes from 0-12 (the 12 is equivilent to a misses 14). Express is great for the radical vanity sizing.
