Gonna go ahead and start this one for you all. Let's make this all about the guys who like, prefer, rock, or wanna rock, the girls jeans that flare at the bottom. For now, Im a wannabe rocker, so until I get my paycheck, im flareless and stuck to bootcut. What about you guys? Are these your preffered?

Sorry not my cup of tea. Last time I wore flared bottom (sailor) pants was in the 70's. I like tight fitting jean leggings with or without ankle zippers. I don't need pockets either since I use a fanny or bum bag. I do like my jeans wear to have belt loops wide enough for a 3 inch belt some with decorative studs and/or grommets. There were a lot of photos and commentary about the subject of men wearing womens jeans in the FemaleFirst forum - - - Direct LINK to that topic: www.femalefirst.co.uk/board/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56028The topic is at 39 pages with 15 posts per page - Enjoy ! k/s/s

Personally, I'm a fan of flare myself. While I do like skinny leg fits, imo, they draw a lot of attention to your lower leg and if you're on the taller side it's not exactly flattering, at least to me. I think flare takes a bit of that perceived height away, which I like.

What would someone consider flare with opening hem bottom of 18"? Have jeans that are bootcut that some consider flare. Don't think it's bad sometimes better looking if shoes you wear look to big makes them look smaller.

I mentioned in a previous post about 'Sailor Pants'. If you can roll the pants leg up over the knee now that is flared. With the boot cut you are not going to be able to roll the leg much higher then the top of the boots and the hem is cut to make the boot more visable. With flared pants the hem maybe lower almost hiding the footwear. There is a lot of room between for variety of fashion applications.

I prefer half way between bootcut and flare. I think belle flares are a bit too wide. J Brand Lovestorys do the trick for me. Does anyone have these?

Lovestory in medium wash like the faded look and soft fabric it's like wearing cotton balls soft and smooth. Find the double button inside hassle to undue button up. It reminds me of my lagerfeld suit pants. Indigo ink wash doesn't look good to me don't know why J- brand makes them so bland? Find the sizing runs small normally I could wear size 27-28 but 30 fit okay but 29 to tight along the waist. Tried skinny j-brand in a 29 and felt I needed smaller size to fit better along the hips and waist, what gives?

I've got the Lovestorys in grey, black and ink blue. I also got some mid blue flares but I can't remember the cut name. haven't tried the skinnies yet. Are they good?
