A few come a browsing - very little if any comment or post on the subject. I would guess that JEANS are not what they used to be. Competing with Leggings Jeggings Tights and fitted pants - What is a Jean wearer going to do ? Like the shoe if it fits wear it - So wear those Jeans - But don't expect to read about raves and kudos even if something comes between you and your Calvins ! LOL !
Not so much a Hot Topic anymore although the Jean wearing excitement may still be there for some.
In any event - - -
Merry Happy Holidays whatever you are celebrating !
Anyone wearing bold *RED* Jeans festive for these times ?

I don't get why this forum is so quiet either?
I've noticed the mens jeans are getting skinnier to the point they almost look like jeggings, so there might be a less of an interest in girls jeans.
However, I for one still much prefer girls jeans over mens! Soooo much more comfortable IMO!!
I did get a couple pr more over the holidays, just haven't had time to post, but I will.

Yes for sure those girly jeans are more comfortable - less fabric weight and the stretch factor - no saggy crap here. Noted that the men's jeans are indeed getting slimmer but not much change in the fabric weight. LOL still San Francisco Levi canvas ? There is still the fly closing on both sides of the aisle - but the pull-on jeans are an oddity for men - but even that is changing. Athletic clothes (pants) are for the most part pull-on's. Washing jeans does help in increasing the fit and comfort level but don't overdo it taking the life out of the garment. Too much laundry may lead to those holey jeans with fabric tears and stress on the seaming - of course you can buy the holes already made whatever fashion turns you on !
And yes the forum has been awfully quiet - except for a few (removed) members from Viet Nam wanting to change the theme topic to sports betting - not gonna happen !
Best wishes for the New Year - stay healthy - avoid the plague (covid virus) - You can wear girly jeans with and without the masking but remember the social distancing !

Hello all. I'm "Guy", the one and only. I first created this forum nearly a decade ago. At the time I was under the impression that this "niche" I guess you might call it, would be a bit larger than it turned out to be. Seems like it never took off? I'd actually forgotten about this message board for a bit, until the other day when something jogged my memory. It appears my old user account has been removed from the site entirely, and my former posts are now displayed under the banner of K/S/K. That's fine. I don't mind the change of hands. I don't have the time to spare for managing this board anymore.
I actually had a bit of trouble finding this place again, even knowing the name of it, I couldn't find the webpage. Even on the Proboards search, it was not coming up. If no search engines can find this place, there's little hope for seeing the community grow in the future.
In the 2000s, there were a handful of scenes in which guys would just straight up wearing women's jeans. It was most notable then, in some of the punk rock music scenes of that time. Skinny jeans were just becoming a trend, and men's skinny was an up and coming fashion statement that hadn't quite taken full root by the time I decided to open this GWGJ forum. There was some genuine buzz around the net as to what people thought of men wearing women's jeans. So it only seemed appropriated to cultivate a community around the subject. Since then, I think the trend of guys wearing actual girls jeans, has all but faded out. Skinny jeans for men has, for the most part, filled the void of most pining to wear a sleeker and slimmer fitting pant in men's. It's not uncommon to see a more fashion conscious male wearing a pair of slim or skinny fit jean. So I don't think of us so much as a growing niche any longer, as much as just a few odd ones out. Of course, we still know there's a significant difference and we prefer what we prefer. Aside from that, a lot of has changed from the time when GWGJ was started. Fashion trends have come and gone. Now 1990s retro and "mom jeans" are back in vogue among the female demographic. Something that I'm truly not a fan of, at all. I'm sticking to my low rise, hip-huggers made popular of the 2000s. They will always be my preference in all jeans. To me it doesn't matter what becomes trendy and what is considered outdated. I wear what I like. I don't imagine this place will ever quite take off the way I thought it might some years ago, but it's a comforting and welcome home for the few of us. Wishing all a happier and healthier new year for 2021. I will attempt to make more regular contributions on the message board going forward and encourage others to do the same. Btw, love the Hollisters, jeansqueen. A classic, IMO.

Welcome back "GUY" - thought you went off to the great void of the internet - took some doing to have the forum transferred over to an active participant "me" K/S/S. Your threads and posts are still here and I think I can restore them for your use - even so much as to share the managing maintenance of it. Have had some fun in tinkering and tweaking the forum (amateur sorcerous apprentice) and removing unwanted foreign members with an agenda of sports betting gambling ! Let me know if you want back in to YOUR forum as an Admin or Moderator - it is lonely up here ! LOL !

Thanks Guy,
I got those hollies back in 2008. Not stretchy at all and are a bit tight these days. I'm itching to get a new pair soon though once the stores open back up. Online shopping doesn't do anything for me like in person does!

I wish more guys would try women’s jeans. I tried some guys skinny and slim fit jeans and just didn’t like them. I didn’t like how they fit or felt. I like AE skinny jeans, Levi’s 314 straight leg and 714’s. They stopped making 714’s. I used to wear Express Barely Boot cut but the butt didn’t look good on me because I have no butt. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Carl60, AE are the best hands down. I got a pr of levi's 710 which I really like. Still want to try the 711 though. And of course Hollister is great too!
