Hair?

Just wondering, how do the people of GWGJ wear their hair?
Personally I've always been keen on wearing my hair long. I don't like short hair, it's boring... and, well, not pretty. Most of my life I've worn my hair long and just recently got to where I want to keep it neatly styled. Layers, different lengths, etc. I really want to go for a style out of the women's, because I like them and there are pretty much no options for guys when it comes to long hair styles anyway. Problem is getting the stylist to cut my hair to any one of said "girl" styles. It's a pain, and you basically have to say, yes, cut my hair like a girl's.
Anyway, how about you folks?

I used to think like you Jean. My hair isn't the most desirable either, it's very fine and naturally very oily and frizzy. I have to wash it daily to manage it. But it's amazing what a little tlc can do. Once I straighten the frizz out with some heat and tame it with a little hair spray, I'm good to go. But I've never really done anything stylistically with my hair that much, which is okay if you want to look like a cave man. But for it to look nice, you really need a style and regular trimming to manage the dead ends. I also don't like my natural color which sort of a bronzish colored very muddy blonde, (it used to be more of a regular blonde as kid) and I want to start dying it. I like pretty much any color other than what I have. Since I've been thinking something in the red family, this particular "messy bob" style stuck out to me, and I've been trying to find more example of this same style. Something about chin length, lots of layering and shorter bangs, probably side swept as shown. I like the red highlights too, but don't know if I'd go for that.

Looks like a lot of work. Need to find the right stylist or colorist. Then you need to spend $$ every month. If you decide red it has to be good for your completion. Seen many woman getting styled but find the front looks okay but the back is all screwed up. It takes time and effort to find something that works and trial and error is mostly what it costs. If i were to get styled it would be like this. Guess i don't want to be laughed upon any more then i already do with my attire. Woman's looks and whispers to others seeing me then laughing at my clothes. Don't need them to look at my hair and laugh more. Plus i don't need the hassle to get ready everyday with my upkeep. Body shaving, tanning and my fitness regime it's not practical in the pool. Plus i wouldn't leave the house ever seeing i take forever getting ready. Some say i'm worse then a girl showering, exfoliating, saunas, whirlpool and moisturizing.
