Of course skinny jeans wouldn't be complete without their colorful collection, and in my opinion I think the ladies department does it better. What I like the most about colored jeans is that they can be worn more as 'pants' rather than just jeans. Like the black one I showed in another thread, can be worn as a tight skinny pant. The same can be applied here with this olive colored jean (that feels smooth like pants) from the brand Blue Topaz. Now if only they have it in khaki color or baby blue wash, my life would be complete!

Colors - colors - colors: Blacks and dark hues are great hiding a lot of flaws - now step across the aisle and look at the whites and pastels. Now you are pushing the envelope of VPL (visible panty line) - what's in your underwear drawer - if any ? The whites and lighter colors tend to be more so transparent - although todays themes are transparent in most everything from business dealings to political corruption to give the appearance of doing the so called 'right thing' ! Remember that with women's wear the fabric weight (thinness of material) reveals a great deal more than denim from the guys side of the aisle. The positioning of the seaming and extra material to accommodate the female anatomy is another feature/factor that needs to be addressed (or is that dressed) ? The tightness of the fit also can be revealing to how well a garment fits about the body comfortably. Typically if one has fat thighs skinny ankles women's pants should fit just about right - skinny thighs - fat calves and the proportioning will not be the effect that is to be expected. The gluts are more pronounced in a horizontal direction (think wide hips) on a women and for men more in front-to-back direction think the bottom end of the hour glass figure - men are more cylindrical women more oval shape. Trial and error and do it all over again on another mode of clothing to get it down and perfect. Some individuals can wear stuff right off the rack others will have a mission for that perfect holy grail piece of clothing ! Good Luck in that venture - a hint to use a triple panel mirror in looking at the fit !
