Get the men's shorts as short as you please then run them through the laundry a few times with a fabric softener - check the water temp (cold - warm) and start with the approved washing cycle then maybe nudging up a notch and reducing the softener. Your shorts can be just as softer as women's with just a few trips wash dry cycle !

sounds good, the only men's shorts i'd like to have are the ones that look like work pants, other than that i wouldn't mind exploring with some of the women's shorts, as long not so short. i've seen some cute denim ones from Indigo Rein and Blue Spice, I might try those out.

So I purchased a nice denim shorts from the brand Kensie jeans. Liked the fact that these shorts run long for women standards and look very 'plain', compared to other jeans with a lot of bling, etc. Such as I suspect from the other aisle, the material is gentle to your skin, feeling really soft and I liked that rolled up style that they offered. I like the fit too, which by the way, if I ever catch regular denim from Kensie's, I will buy them, they seem like a great quality. Oh yeah, got them at Marshall's lol! What do you guys think?

Being a skirt and kilt wearer I go for the length about 14-16 inches or about 6-8 inches above the knee. For gals that is just border line at Short Shorts or same thing for a Mini skirt. I could take about 4 inches off of your Kensie's a name I have not heard about - will have to check it out. Price and fit may be able to hem them up to just my size (specs) although prefer my shorts in white denim. I like'em short and am not afraid to wear same - after-all its just clothing !
